how long till buds start forming when i started flowering today?

I was wounder how long it would take for the buds to start forming on my plant i started flowering today with a 250w hps? I will post pics if needed.
 
im doing a 250 grow and in the second 2 week of flowering. i found sex in about 3-4 days, sorted through the bunch and got rid of the males. saw buds starting to really form towards the end of the 2nd week. i dont know how many plants you have under that 250 but i added some cfls around my plants and i noticed a big difference. and maybe try some molases.
 
It depends on the strain. Most Indicas show within a week. Sativas usually take a couple weeks to show very little developement! In the end the sativas are usually more impressive.
 
yeah, dont expect it to happen in 4 days, it can take up to 3 weeks, it really depends how long they were vegged for
 
i vegged for like 2 months heres are some pics before i went into flowering.

I agree as it has been the exact same for me.

I must have one indica as one of the plants is just now starting to show some buds instead of just a few spriggly hairs now. I was starting to get nervous since all the others already had some buds. Out of 11 mixed seeds I had 4 females. Of course I could of had more, but due to my newbish fuck ups these were the ones to survive.
 
alright i looked last night and there was hairs already so it shouldn't take much longer its the 3rd day tuesday tonight
 
I'm growing Indica with cfl's i'm into day 17 and theres buds all over, its the second generation, after i regenerated it, it took like a bonzi tree lol unreal
