how long to flower sativa

hi been told my plant is a sativa and was wondering
how long i should flower her for,she is 4 days into flowering
first time growin so need all the advice i can get

If it is an heirloom sativa at 100% it could be 14 weeks or longer. If it is a sativa dominant plant it could take 8-14 weeks. There are many exeptions those based on genetics for instance ak-47 is a sativa dominant plant but finishes pretty darn fast. If you dont have one might want to invest in a micrscope to examine your buds periodically for trichrome development.

Remember sativas have a much higher demand for light than indicas. Consider their original sources are temperate unlike indicas. Longer days and they tolerate somewhat higher temps.

An annoying trait of sativa is it wants to get tall (big stretch at flowering) and it sometimes takes forever during flowering. Cool plants, nice buzz tho. This is a generalization.

Sativa don't bring the cash like the indica's do with my stupid generation, But hella good for personal..

if it's lineage is from some hybrid type seeds or bag seed(which are mostly hybrid), and it's a sativa looking plant, then shouldn't be a horrible flower time
it it's some kind of equatorial landrace sativa, then it will probably have a horrible flower time
