How Long Until Harvest?

Hey there guy's. First time medical marijuana grower here. Growing indoors with CFL's in Soil. Bought a Magnifying Glass to see the trichomes... But I'm still just not positive.... Seems like i can see closer with the camera... So here's some pics. I'm in week 5 of flowering. Whats your opinion guy's?

What strain is that DJ? Looks like a sativa/indica cross. 3 0r 4 weeks I'd guess, at least

Once your trichs lose the clarity and turn milky you can start to consider chopping. Milky trichs will give you an upper type high. If you wait longer your trichs will turn amber and chopping at this time will give you a downer chouch lock type high. I hope this helps.

You need better light,,,at least a few week's,,,But don't know with the weak setup...If it would matter?

Hope I can tell the difference when the time comes... Every picture I see with amber trichomes I'm always like huh?... I don't see the difference lol

Well the light was altered for photo purposes... I have 450 watts(118 actual watts) CFL on 1 plant...

Radio Shack sells a pocket microscope for like $20 that is great for checking your trichs. You would see the difference if you picked one up. If not, once you have about 2/3 red pistils its about time to chop.

More light would help looks like about 3 weeks maybe 4 to me as well. How far away is your light/lights?

Next time, or this time if you want you should consider an HPS light for the flowering stage. It would make a big difference in your yield.

I got the light's within 2 inches or so away from the plant... had to move them slightly due to burning.

Cool deal man she cold deff use some more light but plus rep for great grow so far, hps will make an amazing difference in yield well worth it.

Yea,,,That's how I learned,,,Crappy light's,,,seed's and yeild,,,gave me a insparation,,,you will crave more and better and I wish you good luck....Ton's of good info here and there,,,I wish you good
