how many days after 12/12 should i expect to see budding?

is it good to water spray the leaves to moisturize them? or only water soil?

bean told can be upto 14 days for sexing to be done mine at 7 days now no signs be patient

This grow that i am doing right now show'd sex within 3 days. No shit, it was the fastest i have seen.

Give them a couple of weeks anyway...and I don't think you really can predict .God knows I've tried every method out there with no luck.It's a mystery...

In some cases for me the earliest a plant had shown signs of sex was three days the longest about two weeks

i know that the pistils will be grown near the stipules, right now after day 4 of 12/12, i can see little spikes growing near the stipules, but theyre not big enough to determine if theyre white/clear like pistils, but i know that from looking at my plant that the stipules come in pairs, so the extra "spikes" are prob. pistils...what do u guys think?

I may be in the minority, But I wouldn't flower until the preflowers show up.

Thats nature's way of saying the plant is ready to reproduce. Think of the preflowers like a girl's period. Forcing reproduction earlier will probably not go as well.

And since you can veg fine with CFL's and T5s well, you can save the $$ on the HPS flowering lights/electricity on a crap shoot.

i hear ya bro, but ive let it veg. for 2months already. also, im not even sure what preflowers look like.

also, my plant got to 20", and ppl flower as early as 8-10". i had to start. also, it's just a mecc seed anyway. i dont have much to lose and i have a one bulb setup so ive not spend much at all.

most of my light comes from the sun anyway. i just put inside after it gets cloudy or dark.

im not sure. ive not seen any good pics either, one guy has a decent one posted but ive not seen em on my plant. i think i have about 1 more week max to tell sex so after that im in the clear.
