Sup guys, I'm thinking up a concept of a solar powered grow, deep in the forests, connected to a car battery, etc... if you want the full concept, it's here:

But what i want to know... Is how many of these LED boards would i need for 1 small (60 cm) Plant?

Please help me out :/ i've looked anywhere and i can't seem to find any guidelines on how many watts per plant, etc... Thanks a lot for your help (in advance haha)

The easy rule-of-thumb method is to use a ration of 1:2 - LED to HID. If you would normally use a 400W HPS to do the job, you can drop to 200W LED and so on. Remember, as important as wattage is the efficiency. If you want to be efficient YOU MUST use lights with 1W 10mm diodes. Not 2W or 3W LED. They are nowhere near as efficient and it seems your project is dependant on getting as much out of your light as possible. Good luck.

Do you think 2 of these panels would be enough for 3 plants?

IMO, I think 1 would be good for vegg. but 2 each for flowering. and i would get a higher watt too if your doing multiple plants, or else you will be getting a lot of those panels.

Bear in mind that the plants would only be about 50 - 60 cm big...

Any other answers? :/

Seems like there are to many variables in you OP. I think you need to rethink you whole plan and work on something solid if you are serious.

You aren't going to grow anything with 14w or 16w LED panels...

I would recommend buying '240w' (really 140w) blackstar LED lights or something from growledhydro (their website pics are out of date, definitely in the top 3 LED companies though)
