How many plants can i feed with 1 gallon of mixed nutes

Hello everyone,

Very newbie question, so i have 3 seedlings about 2 weeks old, and i want to start adding nutes to them, i know i'm suppose to start with a fraction of the amount written on the chart. but how many plants can i feed with that much nutes? 1 plant? for example my seedlings cant handle 1 gallon of water/nutes, it'll drown the roots, but say i filled 1 gallon up with nutes and water and spread it on 3 plants, does that work? or are they not getting the nutes they are suppose to.

Man it depends i water 12 plants in 2 gal buckets and i water 12 seedlingds

but say the chart says 5 ml per gallon, i will fill up 2.5ml per gallon, but is that according to 1 plant? or can i feed all 3 of my plants with that gallon, and will they get the nutes they need or is it under nuteing them? basically my question is, is 2.5ml for 1 plant or they are just saying thats how much a gallon and you can feed wtv you like with it until it runs out?

It changes as the plants grow, and depends on the size of the planter... ALWAYS mix per gallon, if your plantsa re in a 5 gallon planter- each may take as much as 3 gallons of nutes!
All depends on the type of soil etc...

Make sure your planters have good drain holes in the bottom....
then water SLOWLY so it soaks in all the way and enough that some drains out the bottom (just a bit)

You can't really water these plants on a schedule or measured amounts, since it changes with atmospheric conditions, humidity, and as the plants mature-- so always water & feed this way- even when they are big...

and only water between feeds IF the top 2 inches of soil are dry and the planter gets light.... or you can drown them.

Perfect thank you, and as for the soil being dry. Its been damp for like 4 days... is that normal? its dry, just not at 100%, id say 80%. if i water them now is it too early or it should be fine?

Three seedlings, Yeah your good to go with a gallon.

Is this a soil grow? If so, what type of soil are you using?

If you're using some amended soil, I wouldn't give the seedlings anything other than water for the first 4-5 weeks
