How many PPM for feedings?

Alright. I have a 1 week old feminized Blue Cookie in a solo cup. I am using Ocean Forest potting soil and have the Fox Farm trio. The Fox Farm feeding schedule calls for 2000ppm feedings. I always read online to keep it at 1000ppm. My last grow using a TDS meter, I would give "general feedings" which out me at 1000ppm. A "heavy feeding" according to the bottle would do 1500- 2000ppm. I always put 1000ppm in and would get 1000ppm out in the runoff. Should I go with the Fox Farm schedule and just watch my ppm in my runoff for buildup? Shouldn't runoff for a plant in veg be 600-800ppm? Or less for this little guy at 1 week?IMG_20211210_120454.jpg9541def28f293017262e112ce6f795212363a6b9.jpg

More like That plants uptake should be lower than that. Like 400ppm. FFOF Soil has a bunch of nutrients.I get runoff around 1600ppm. Since growing organically the beneficial bacteria and microbes aid the plant uptake for readily available nutrients in your soil when needed.
you can transplant in sequence like from being in 1gal for 3 weeks then 3gal for a month. water only. Transplant to a 7gal for flower. And hit with a pk booster at week 4 or 5. You shouldn't have any problems from seed to harvest. Remember genetics do play a huge role when it comes to deficiencies and toxicities as well.

Like others have said, don't use ANY nutrients at first in FFOF. You'll be able to transplant that cup into a larger container of FFOF and continue not to need to feed it until the roots have totally filled out the container. Then, when that has happened, and the plant is a good size, try starting with 500-600 ppms and see how it does. Most people will never need to go above 600 PPMs, some might depending on their plant size, lighting, and other conditions.

Not sure about ocean forest but I think its comes with enough nutes to get through a couple weeks.
When u say 2000ppm that seems too high. But another thing to consider is what is the PPM of the water from the tap? If u have hard water and it's 600ppm then I can see adding nutes and getting to 2000ppm. But if u start with zero PPM RO water then 2000ppm is way too high.
When my plants are that size I'm running about 1000ppm. That's using RO water and adding calmag.
I never use my nutes half strength unless they are just babies, though I'm growing in coco. If anything I'm adding more than is called for but that's how I get good results
