How much better are qb's with red/far red diodes compared to cobs

I've been building/running vero 29 cob lights for the past 7 or so years and I'm wondering how much better qb's with red/far red are? I have a supplemental light with red's on it (platinum p150 with only flower lights on that I think has 660's not sure about 730's) and I run 6 cobs in a 3x3 at 70 watts each max, dimmed down. One of my problems with cobs is I feel I need to run them higher up from the canopy or I get light burning at the top of the canopy but it's also hard to find a balance between canopy penetration/brightness and light burn at the top. Will I see advantages from switching to something like an HLG rfr 300?

You can always DIY red strips ( separate driver ) that way you can add that lighting during bloom.

COBS can be intense ( i usually try to factor light footprint of each ) for good overlap. Adding red 630-660 nm - really isn’t that difficult - rail mounted to your own rig for supplemental use as needed.

I use a G8 Bloom booster ( led ) 630-660 nm and power it when needed. Supplemental lighting.
