How much room will I need to do 10 plants?

I'm in the early stages of getting my grow room design done. I will be building a 600SQFT living space/grow room and hoping to get away with a spot to do 10 plants max.

Living space will have bathroom, bed, laundry, kitchen - trying to get an idea of how much space I should consider for doing 10 plants

Depends on how big or small you want those ten plants. Why only ten?

2' x 2' minimum = 1 plant
10 plants would need 40 sq.ft. or more.

I grow 12 in a 3x3 tray. 2oz each
