How Much Soil?

I am at about two weeks from finishing with my first grow which was done with ten year old rose bush soil.I only grew one plant so my next crop will be six plants.I am on a tight budget so i need to know how much fox farms ocean mix soil i need to fill six three gallon containers?Can anybody help?

lol, Funny how no one has been able to accurately answer your question.

You need to fill Six, 3 gallon planters. One gallon is 3.78 liters. So you need 6x3x3.78 liters of soil. Pretty much 68 liters.

On the average, 3.0 cuft of soil is 50L worth. I think it is wise to mix in a healthy amount of perlite also. So you need a good 3.0 cuft of soil, and another 1.5 cuft of perlite. Mix this together and you should have enough for your planters.

4.5 cuft is about 75 liters. So there's your answer.
I suggest coco over soil any day.

thank god you came along with such percision

with 4.5 cu ft or 3- 1.5 cu ft bags you can fill your 6 planters and have enough to fill another 2.5 3 gallon planters
