I am attempting to make a watering wand setup for my nutrient reservoir. I would like to have a garden hose and watering wand attached to a submersible pump in my reservoir. The problem is i don't know how big of a pump I need.
I have been to a couple of hydroponic shops and heard different things:
the first one told me that I didn't need much of a pump. he said 100 gph would do fine.
The second one told me that in order to get any pressure out of the wand I would need a 1500 gph pump.
I am thinking about something right in the middle like 400-500gph. like a $20 pump
If I wasn't on such a tight budget I would just buy the big one.
Any suggestions would be helpful!
thanks-
