Hey there folks,

i'm currently growing some nice green on the roof of my house here in the caribbean :) The last grow did go really nice until it rained for about 4 days in a row and i discovered budrot in all of my plants and had to throw away half of my yield ... ( damn, that mold really spreads fast !!!)

What can i do to avoid molding ? The humidity is always around 90% here !!

Do you think building a glass-roof on top of my plants will help ?

Should have a plastic sheet that you can put over it just in case.I just done a grow of a.m.s and white rhino both top plants for not getting mould.Trying to cross the two at this time to get some seeds of it.

Not sure as to the best method of avoidance, but I will say this, the best method of dealing with it once discovered I've used so far has been using Serenade. I also used sulphur burners too, but that never stamped it out entirely.

doesn't plastic sheet block a lot of sunlight ? i'm thinking about buying a sheet of plexiglass to cover my whole "garden", but it's quite expensive here ..might get plastic sheet instead ...

till now i use a brownish tinted window i had left over but it seems to filter a lot of sunlight though ... anyway everything's better than mold !!!
