First time outdoors and not by choice. My basement flooded with the historic rains and the room got destroyed.....Anyway, I put what I had going outside in pots and a few in good ole mother natures dirt. They all are doing fantastic and its been a great experience so far but I have a few questions and need some advice.
First my apollo 13s started to flower like 3 weeks ago and my killer queens and rosetta stones are still vegging hard. I think i see a few hairs shooting out as of this morning but the apollos are in full flower. I have grown all these before and they are all clones of ones i finished so I know these girls fairly well (my god does anything with c99 in it eat some food!) I have an apollo in dirt and in a pot on the deck. They both started the same time so could it be a strain thing and not a light thing? Again, I am an indoor gardener with a completely controlled environment so this sun stuff is new. The difference in size is unreal and I will be planning to do this next year for sure instead of a last minute grab the husqvarna rototiller with 2 hours to get it all ready...
Most of my plants i Top top and top some more and become bushes with 30 colas. Well, they are well over 4 times the size I have ever grown even with the attempt to keep them smaller. They are bushes! So I am looking for a fast forward button in caging these beasts. I have all the tools and local stores that carry everything I would expect to use. Can you guys show me your final cages, shapes, height, and if you run 2 cages of some sort for the stretch and then the weight after the stretch. Thats what I am thinking but man....Coming up with a plan that will actually work is mandatory. This is my wifes (meds) and my smoke for at least 9-12 months so I cant eff this up.
I know its far off but do you cover your plants under 32 degrees? If so what do you use and how do you do it. I am thinking I need to cage these with that in mind.
My phone is cracked because i ran it over with my tractor.....Pics will be a bit blurry.
