Hi! I have NEVER grown before. At all. So I am a complete noob haha. I am looking to grow six clones hydroponically. I have chosen to use the Girl Scout Cookies strain. If anyone has a step by step on how to start growing hydroponically for a newbie that would be very much appreciated. Thanks and happy growing!:weed:

The best thing you can do for your grow is to read, study, and learn. This is especially true with hydroponics. Personally I will only use soil for a couple of reasons...A) in soil if issues develop it can take days to have any real impact, in hydro it can take just hours to kill a plant...B) I have never seen God put a seed in rockwool to grow it. I like to keep things natural.

But, I am not trying to dissuade you. Hydro is a very effective grow method for some. But, again do some research. Learn all you can, put together the needed equipment and grow for it.

Good Luck and Great Growing

Might sound a little OCD, but the need to "see" God, might be looked at as an Atheist outlook. It lacks the "faith" aspect. Furthermore, God made man with the ability to choose to put seed in rockwool. One could argue that, that is natural. Defining "natural" how the life has moved forward, without "human" interactions, is in itself, unnatural. A little oxymoronic.

...the thing I think about while medicated...

Don't grow hydro is my best advice to a new grower. You might as well drive down the road tossing money out the window.

With hydro, you definitely will be investing more of you life into growing, with that said, I also started in hydro..

Shit just happens too quickly in hydro. When things change they change quick. By not knowing what a plant does and how a healthy one looks you have little time to fix or screw it. If you have somebody nearby to help that is one thing. Getting on RIU is not that help.

It's true, soil might be easier to learn, but since I've joined RIU, it seems everyone on here has the mindset to scare everyone else from trying hydro. I love hydro! Its easy, imo, even with the major problems; grant you, I grow for fun too.
I say fuck it, go for it! Do hydro! Whats money when growing your passion.

Fick it, go hydro. I did on my first run and killed it. Get two six hundreds and a 4x8 space. Dwc. Get a ppm meter and run with it. If it fails try soil or soiless. Jist make sure you pick the right kind of hydro for your growing style.

I would suggest going with hempy instead of hydro, as it's more forgiving but still has similar results, plus hempy will teach you what you need to know about hydro

Now we agree a PPM meter is a necessity for hydro grows...That being said..do you sell PPM meters? LOL!!!!!

Absolutely nothing, but at the time I was highly high, and my mind works in circles when i find oxymorons.

My first grow i tried hydro. Had studied for about 6 months straight and was still not prepared. Did grow them to harvest but yield and quality was subpar. Too many factors to contend with. Next grow did soil and had decent results with same setup. I only grow organically now using subs super soil. Easiest method possible. Noob proof.
