How to harvest plants with budrot?

I know the title is a bit vague.

But my question is about, how to ensure that what I harvested is okay to consume.

I currently have around 5 oz worth of Frisian Dew in Grove bags. When harvesting I washed the bud in water and also in hydrogen peroxide. I cut away all the buds that had bud rot and anything near those buds as well.

But that doesn't mean there can't be spores left in the healthy buds that I harvested.

So what's the procedure? Do I wait a few weeks until it has cured, then check? Do I use a UV light? Do I use something else?

I checked all the buds when trimming and didn't see any more signs of bud rot, in total, I lost about 5 buds to bud rot, over a week.

Watch it closely as it's curing is all U can do bud

But, the mold should grow, right? So the longer I wait, the easier it will be to see if there's budrot? Because, if there's budrot on one bud in the bag, the entire bag is trash. It's not like I can save anything by detecting the budrot right now, right?

Exactly you can't know till you know it's there

I'd pay for a mycotoxin test for the flower if I was going to smoke it, otherwise I'd just make edibles. Sorry you had to deal with budrot. That sucks.

Our digestive systems are better prepared for this then our lung parenchyma. So it's the better choice. The best choice is to toss but that's hard to do and I get it. So best way to mitigate harm is edibles on a heavily spored crop.
