How to make a good 5 gal bubble bucket?

I'm not going to use a reservoir system, just individual buckets. I want to have a tube on the bottom for easy draining. Are there any instructions on what to use and how to do it?

Do a search...i know that not only this forum, but other grow forums have lots of articles on this.

try "DIY Aero Cloner", "DIY Aero Bucket", etc...

get yourself some 1/2'' tubeing a 90 deg. 1/2 barbed fitting, and a 1/2'' rubber gromet, drill the right size hole for the gromet push the fitting into the gromet stick on your tubing and your done.make sure to drill the hole the right size you want the fitting to be a little tight going in so it wont leak.now you have a nute level gauge and a drain.just turn it down and drain, just a little advise,I use milk crates to elevate my plants it makes it much easyer to take care of them. draining the buckets at floor level is a pain in the ass.good luck

Agree, I personally use a small hydro pump I got for $8. I jus throw it in and drain and move it to the next bucket. I don't have room in my area to elevate the buckets for a bottom fed drain system.

I sat there the first time and held the button down now I just drop a small pond pump and send it straight to the drain. I have even used a bilge pump that I found at a marine store
