How to make a good grow box Or tent

I want I grow in my closet but I don't know how to build a grow box, tent ect.
Any ideas i don't care it can be a box or tent ,but I need something to keep the smell out of my clothes so my girlfriend and me don't smell. I know I need a carbon filter ,but will it work to keep the smell out of the closet

You can build a tent out of anything my friend! Do you have any building know how? a simple frame out of 2x2 lumber with some extra support to keep it from leaning worked great for me. The frame also could be built out of pvc. Then you would need to wrap it with panda film which is easy. To wrap the tent, cut out 2 pieces to fit the top and bottom (leave some extra to fold over the edges). Tape the bottom and top to the frame with heat resistant tape (ducting tape not duck tape). Then you'd take a piece large enough to wrap the 3 sides of the tent starting from one corner. Simply tap the pieace on one corner and pull it tight; while wraping the panda film around the frame. You should have one side left unfinished at this point. This is your door side and for me I bought industrial strenght velcro and placed in on both sides and cut a piece big enough to cover the last opening.

yea a carbon filter on a ventilation that fit will take care of all odour or atlest 99,9% .. mine do ..

and it is a must .. like light and a grow medium of some kind .. we just need to find out what size and kind ..



so please tell us what it is you to want to achieve .. and what kind of budget .. other stuff to consider is noise and tempetures ..


I build my room out of 2x2" wood and masonite/plywood sheets (free at work)




thats in a spare bed room ..

but it all depense .. I have a 600W HPS and a 6" ventilation and carbon filter to fit .. and a few fans and tubeings ..

you will need the same basic stuff .. you just need to find out witch way to go .. and what fit your needs and space and budget ..


if your just looking Etc.
to grow a few small Autos to cover your own needs ..

and maybe got high temps and dont want to mouch noise from big ventilation systems aso.

a expensiv LED fixture might be the way .. sure you have to come up with +500$ to start with ..
but you will safe that in power and bulbs over time .. for sure .. and you will also need way less fans and smaller ventilations (only for fresh air/co2)

so less noise .. and money spend here aswell .. you could even use a good strong silent bathroom ventilation with a DIY carbon filter on ..

but agin ther are many ways ..



if you have a small budget ..

you could start out with the bathroom ventilation and a few 23W CLFs (5000K) from "walmart" etc.

and upgrade over time ..

next pay check more CLFs/Y-splits .. and next some more in 2700K for flowering ..

next grow use em for Veg and get a 250W HPS for flowering with a cool tube and bigger ventilation/filter ..
