How to minimize smell when transporting?

Hey people. just looking for some tips on how to minimize the smell from plants when transporting them after a cut from a guerilla grow......had one autoflower I picked the other day and man oh man she was stinky. had her in a large black plastic bag in the trunk and could still smell it in the car. im transporting my plants when harvested about 40miles and threw a few towns and woulda been screwed if there had of been a spot check. She smelled that strong that when I took her in the house my woman said wtf is in the bag a skunk lol.

start with gloves and use layers.
2 bags, one at a time, sealed with tape
remove gloves , one more bag sealed in tape,
into cardboard box, sealed in tape.
Open and hang a new car air freshener package and drive home.

You're screwing up big time using bags and thinking they'll stop the smell for more than a few minutes. Hell the people behind you could probably smell it. STOP doing that immediately.
Go to your local hardware store and grab some 5 gallon buckets with lids. You want the lids with the little rubber seal ring on them. You should be able to make that trip no problem with the lid totally sealed. It won't be 100 percent but it'll be damn close.
Try not to touch your cloths with the dope and carry a bottle of alcohol to scrub your hands with before you take off as well. That smell sticks.
Also try to find a carwash with the super strong scented oil spray machines.
Cinnamon is your go to.

But does putting fresh weed in bags effect potency since the tricomes stick to everything's?

My wife loves the cinnamon gummy bears ....the ones that come in the large bag that looks like foil inside ....anyways, I always have her save them because between the zipper seal and the residual cinnamon oil it does great .....obviously even the jumbo bags of those will only hold a QP if stuffed ....but cinnamon is the best I've found as well .....and I use the large commercial totes with gaskets for storing vegetables in walk in style refrigerators .....tight sealing gaskets are absolutely best IMO.
