How to properly setup fan & scrubber???? need help

OK so I'm not new to growing but I am new to using hid lights and tent. OK so I got the dark room.dr90 3x3x6. Using 400w cool tube and 6" inline with.scrubber 440 cfm for both. I need to know how to properly setup my fan and scrubber. Hydro store says to have it push the air through cool tube then filter but others have said to have it sucking and not blowing. Not 100 percent sure so I would like to know the best way and not ruin fan

they both work, do what you prefer.

in my configuration the bulbs run cooler when the air is blowing over them.

They both work depending on the space, my space ATM is similar size to yours and I couldn't see a way to fit the carbon filter comfortably in there without big kinks in the ducting, so I am running it cooltube>ducting>fan>filter, the fan and filter being outside of the grow space, and it runs like a dream! The only drawback I can see to this method is I have to clean my cooltube every now and then cos dust gets on the inside of the glass. In a brand new tent though I don't know if that'll be a thing as much as in my cupboard, even though I have hoovered it.
So if I had the space I would do it filter>fan>cooltube>out, but i'm not sure you will in a DR60.

You can put the filter at either end, but pulling air is virtually always more efficient than pushing/blowing it. The fan itself should be as close to the end of the ducting/exhaust as possible, and be pulling cooler air thru the ducting and finally pushing it out the exhaust.

You can't push a string.
