How to start a seed company in Holland?

Besides becoming a local, what would one have to do in order to legally start a seed company in Holland? Don't come into this thread saying it's complicated and that it's hard to move to Holland and blah, blah, blah.. I don't care how hard it is. If I actually would go on and create a seed company, I would try and try until I would acquire a license.

Thanks:-P

i would think you would have to know a great deal how to feminize seeds, grow and clone different strands, and just be an overall expert at seeds and cultivation. unless you just want to buy seeds from elsewhere and be a supplier.

i wish i had some real info and advice for ya. sorry. but you have a positive outlook and seem persistent, and good things come to those people. i hope everything works out if you decide to pursue it.

Just speaking business wise..... you are looking at a specialized business concentrated in close proximity with each other which creates a saturated market. I think it would be an uphill battle dollar wise, but if money is no concern, it would be fun.

Think the seed banks in holland have had to move their seed production ops to switzerland. Something to do with legal matters. At least i am pretty sure, think i read it in an issue of weedworld a while back. Or i may have been really baked. But i have def read that somewhere.

Apart from the business side, you will have to make some good cantacts pretty quickly, you will also have to find space to grow, alot of the seed companies call there grow spaces in holland "Labs" and they are fekkin huge, they do all they breeding, cloning etc there.

Every oppurtunity to enter your weed in competition, do so!

this is what a lot of the players do over there, no matter if it's small or large comp to do it, as if you win a cup then you can advertise the product as it won a cup from such & such etc.

Good Luck Dude

Sounds crazy but I would try and land a job at one of the big REGULAR nurseries first. It all crosses over....contacts too... You could bootstrap your seed business up along the way as you become familiar with everyone and vice versa for them getting to know you.
