Hi guys! So, my plant is soon going to start the flowering process any time now, and I was wondering if you could tell me how to trim it, because I've read that if you trim the plant of excessive leaves, than the energy that the plant produces will go into the buds, making them bigger, and well, that's the whole point of it. I'll attach a picture, it's a healthy female, it's a sativa, around 3 foot tall (90cm), it should soon stop growing, at least I hope so..any extra advices on that? how to stop the growth? Any help would be much appreciated! Cheers and stay high! :weed:

Thanks guys for the info, it helped me also, from what I've read and heard the fan leaves are basically solar panels for your plant...

That plant is not going to stop growing, the exact opposite actually. And being a sativa it will get extra tall. I grew a sativa once and the plant was damn near touching the roof come harvest!

i believe what ur thinking of is called lollipopping, its when ppl will cut alot of the lower foliage and braches that dnt get a whole lotta light, they do this because to them these are insignificant and wont produce much bud and by trimming them all the nutrients wnt be used on them and will go to ur top colas, to me i say leave em bc they may not produce a 12g nug but you will get sumthin off em and if ur just growin for self consumption, its not gonna matter, it doesnt look like u have ne small insignifican braches neway, looks like a nice plant
