How to use CANNA CALMAG Agent

About to start a run using CANNA COCO A&B. Is their CALMAG Agent necessary to use running just the base A&B with RO water? I noticed on the USA website it says to add the CALMAG Agent last after the A&B. But on their UK website it says to add it first. Does anyone know which is best?

From Canna's UK site:
- Shake well before us.
- Fill nutrient reservoir with water (20-22°C).
- Add 0.1-0.5 ml per litre CANNA CALMAG AGENT until you reach an EC of 0.4mS/cm. On top of this water you use the normal recommended nutrients and additives.

From Canna's USA site:
- Fill nutrient reservoir with water of room temperature (64-72 °F).
- Add nutrients and additives to be used such as CANNA COCO, CANNABOOST, RHIZOTONIC, CANNAZYM, and PK13/14, mixing between each addition. Adjust your EC as needed. Make pH adjustments as needed.
- Add 2 - 4 ml/gal (5 - 10 ml/10 liters) of CALMAG AGENT, depending on your water quality and target plant.
- Wait 24-48 hours to do additional pH adjustments, because the solution naturally drops and then rises in pH during this time. Keep in mind that a stable pH is also temperature dependent.

Sounds like the US version is a little confusing but I think it's best to add prior to all your other fert mix as in the UK version and THEN ec/ph and feed, cos if you ec your "Jungle Juice" first then when you add the calmag you will alter your ec and may cause some issues, just saying ;)

firstly why are you using RO water in the U.K.?

If your tap water EC is 0.4 or below then your source water is fine for using.

Secondly the Calmag agent is for preparing their Natural coco or for treating a deficiency.

How often do you plan to feed the plants? Automated or hand feeding?

For a while I’ve used Calmag in my source water (0.2EC) but I think I’ve found that with multiple daily irrigations then additional Calmag I believe may have been causing issues for me.

however when I was hand feeding once daily I needed the Calmag.

There's more Ca and Mg in Canna Coco than most "Calmag" products. It's intended for Coir and you should NOT add anything to the A + B other than maybe inoculants. Don't use PK13/14, it will only cause you problems.

Only needed for a top quality product is A + B. More input most often leads to more problems.

Just curious in which Canna line you guys favor. I am currently thinking of switching my nute line and probably going to go with Canna, but I see they have a few options and I'm not too sure which one to go with. Any advice is welcomed and thanks in advance.
