Howdy - chronic pain associated with diabetic neuropathy

Pardon my newbness, I'm looking for a doctor that will certify for chronic pain associated with diabetic neuropath Close to Battle Creek. Ideally. I have no insurance, and no medical records. Any advice or info greatly appreciated.

Anybody have a similar issue and had success getting certified and a card? I hadn't really considered it a option until recently, when a nurse friend suggested it. I had thought you had to have 3 years of medical records, but perhaps that rule has laxed?

Anyway, hi. Hope everybody is having a good Sunday.

You are going to play hell (or pay hell) by not having ANY medical records. You don't have anything at all that says you have diabetes or anything.
I first got certified from chiropractors. They took a pile of money out of my wallet, and it did feel better when sitting. After that though, I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. I couldn't stand pain and went to emergency room and they found all kinds of shit wrong with me. I do not have insurance and wasn't able to go to neuro surgeons yet. Their diagnosis and xrays are plenty for doctor to recommend mj, unfortunately they won't actually fix my spine, till I get bigger wallet, than the one the chiropractor liked so much.

Good Luck. I do not know any doctors in Battle Creek, but I do know one of the state parks do not like you drinking and blazing down. This whole time, I thought thats what the parks were for?

The diabetes would be easy to document, but I'm trying to avoid the label. I take a ton of supplements which keep my sugar down. But the numbness in my feet is permanent, like a constant burning sensation, with stabbing pains here and there. I didn't have insurance for a long time (still don't) and let it go far to long. I thought it was due to sciatica, which was bad enough.

i was looking at getlegal or one of these day clinic places they set up. I was hoping it was easier now that the law has settled in, but I dunno.

BloodSugar - If you are willing to drive to the Flint area there is at least one doctor that should help you out. I cant figure out how to private message you.

I don't wanna have to put down that I'm diabetic on job apps or whatnot. Like a preexisting condition thing. I'm also not crazy about being on insulin or glucophage type drugs.

I guess it will get tricky accepting and denying illnesses. lol. I have heard belle talk in past about preexisting disease shit for jobs in the past, insurance, and what not. Few days ago I saw Michelle Obama on Dr. Oz. She said was talking about how they want their legacy to be known as healthy people, or some shit along those lines. Anyway she said they (the Obamas) have changed a lot of the laws pertaining to preexisting diseases and illnesses, cuz the majority of America is fucked up, in some way. I was literally walking through the living room and stood there listening for a few minutes.

Call up Michigan Holistic Health in BC. Tell them what's up. They will see you without records but you're better off taking your records for the diabetes there. They will have you fill out a 2 week pain record if they accpet your condition which I don't see why they wouldn't.

They have an office on Columbia across from the Riverside Country Club... They go back and forth different days of the week.

Yep, I saw that they make it to BC a few times a month. I'm going to do this pain log, and give them a call and see what they think. Thanks, it has been really hard to find resources. I didn't even realize there where dispensaries in town or around at all. Keeping my fingers crossed.

just remember you should try to cure your diabetes with RSO and and cannabis use. not manage your symptoms.
What's RSO? I do have a lot of pain from the nueropathy, which is unfortunately - to my understanding - permanent damage. My blood sugar is under control now, I do regular testing, but the damage is done. So I'm seeking treatment options that wont damage my liver or get me hooked on painkillers, or cost a lot more. I plan to grow my own little stash to keep me productive and functional moving forward. But first things first.

If they would add diabetes and neuropathy directly to the classification, that would be the route I'd go. I guess addressing the pain aspect will have to do.

There's no cure for diabetes. But adult onset, which I presumably have, is more or less effectively treatable and managed thru diet and exercise, ideally. A lot of people they just put on Glucophage because they don't expect them to be able to make the changes, and that gets their BGl under control quickly, but over time it's effectiveness weakens, and those same people end up on insulin for life.

As far as diabetes go, I have been worried about that as well. You fat? I found being fat is very overrated and have been losing weight for a year now. Just about 70 pounds so far. That is damn near how much my girlfriend weighs. lmao.

no cure? weird... so that guy i know who made his own RSO and cured his diabetes must've been wrong... nevermind.

tired of trying to help people when their largest hurdle is themselves.

@BloodSugar I would suggest a trip to a "free" clinic in BC to have those feet looked at ASAP. If you were to loose your feet those feelings will remain. Take those records for your MMJ referral and you should be good as gold.
