First time fungi grower with some questions!
Ok I pasteurized 6 10 pound bags of hpoo/verm 50/50 + 5% gypsum mix in tied contractor garbage bags @ 170 degrees for 2.5 hours. I wasn't able to use the substrate immediately and it sat for a couple days. It now stinks like fresh fresh shit and somewhat of a sour rot smell. I have read you can re-dry your mix and pasteurize again and it will be OK I just waited to long and the bacteria grew causing the stank. I've laid out the substrate outside on some plastic bags in the sun and added a little more verm to help the drying process (See pictures). Am I going in the right direction. If I re-dry and re-pasteurize and use as soon as it cools will I be ok? I got 30 colonized Golden Teacher WBS jars ready go (See pictures) and I'm hoping my re-drying research is correct so I can get it going.
