(hps, cfl question) for plant day 33 flowering

my plant is currently flowering under 4 26w 2700 kelvin cfls. i just purchased a 50w hps kit just for this one plant, is it ok to add this light right now being that the plant is nearly halfway through flowering. I want to keep the 104w of cfl i got along with the hps, will this be ok as long as i maintain the same temps and light schedule?

100% A OK! thats not problem at all..the more the light the better!...just make sure the hps isn't as close to the plant "it gets a lot hotter than cfl's" u want it close but no so close that its gunna burn the plant...so if u can put a fan directly on the light u will be able to put it closer..good look!

cool because i have 4 12v cpu fans from xbox systems that move shit loads of air and it will keep this hps cool as hell. once i wire the hps up im just going to move the plant to my closet for the last half of budding and im just going to blast it with the hps and all the cfls i got. and run all those fans on the hps and keep a 4 inch fan running to circulate

A 50watt hps doesnt get that hot at all!My friend has 70watt one he puts them within 3" of his plant,just hold the back side of your hand under it for one minute,if its to hot for you its to hot for them,just move it up until you can hold your hand under there for one minute without discomfot.Good Luck&Stay Safe!!

hey thanks ron, thats really the only important info i got, i thought it wouldnt get too hot all, and now im pretty happy about it :peace::blsmoke:

i got a 70 watt hps and a 150 watt hps...the 70 watt def. gets hott if theres no fans running...maybe there diff than rons buddys...but what he said def. works!...thats how i adjusted my lights...good luck dude!..post some pics please i wanna see ur buds!!
