go to a hydro shop and get a cheap batwing reflector. they feel a little flimsey but the bonus is they reflect the most light. more than most anything else even more expensive ones. should be able to get one for about 40$cdn

I seriously can't afford to buy anything.im sure i've seen a thread on here with someone making there own reflector! But dont know where to put fixings on the hps ( see pictures i attached before.) if the closet is painted white do i really need a reflector for this hps as the wall should reflect the light anyway? I've already got a 200w cfl with reflector in my space but i got this hps free.its got no fixings on it to put it on a reflector so how can i make some?

Please help, Im desperate to get this set up and going.
Thanks.

Yes even with the closet painted white you really need a reflector. They aren't that expensive. You could make one but by the time you buy all the goodies you might as well pick up a cheapie.

yeah i agree. Plus the safety of you and the people around you. ever touch one? lol not fun. get a cheap hood with proper mounts. you wont be sorry plus like i said before the cheapest model on the market is under 50$cdn and reflects the most light(adjust-a-wing/batwing).
