hps light

hi friends just winder working on a flower room it is about 10x4 and trying to put 10 plants in there and im wondering if like 2 t5's maybe 3 and a 400 watt hps would do the would love some feed back thank u guys

Seems a little short because you have lots of space to cover. You might consider a light mover. You could also set up the room for one half veg and one half flower.

Fluorescents suck for flowering and t5s are actually less efficient than HIDs. Get at least a 600w HPS for 10 plants, preferably 2, or ideally a 1000w.

In a 10x4ft space you could have 30-40 nice sized plants. The ideal lighting would be 2 1000w hps....... this would make HIGH quality bud!!!!

don't try growing 40 plants until you know what you are doing. save your money and sanity. Plus with 40 plants there wouldn't be any room to maneuver. 9-12 plants with a 600w or 1000w light would be a perfect start. Add another light and another 9-12 additional plants after you get some experience under your belt.
