Jarred my harvest 4 weeks ago. At first, humidity registered in the high 80’s. Burped daily. Levels currently sitting in low 70’s. I’m concerned that it’s taking such a long time…or, is longer better?
Am I stoned or are you jarring too early? Lol Id jar them at 57rh. Id worry about mold.

i reside in Arizona. Drying too fast is the challenge. I use a humidifier. If youre using a dehumitifier to keep under 60 rh in dry room just beware most dehumitifiers will get a frozen coil essentially breaking the dehumitifier beyond repair below 65F.
Understood. There is no mold.In jars at 80%
I'd be very concerned about mold!
I would not smoke it unless very experienced people could convince me it's safe. Maybe an h020 wash?
Removing from jars for additional drying. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks to all for the responses.A perfect cure every time
This method is particularly effective for folks who are starting out, those looking to maximize quality in a shorter period of time, and folks who's like to produce a connoisseur-quality product each and every time with no guesswork involved. It's a very simple and effective process: Cut...www.rollitup.org
This is it right here. It explains what I said in detail. You want those back into a dry space with a little air flow to prevent mold. You just jar it with a hygrometer to test RH for a few hrs or more to get a accurate reading.
If its rising every 5-10mins its probably to wet, the more ready for jarring it is, the longer it takes to verify its ready with hygrometer.
I jar at 57rh which is quite a small window but like I said I get better results doing so. So if its testing below 55rh, like it says, dont panic, it could take hours to verify its humidity level. I Never used a wood moisture meter or whatever those a called so idk about their effectiveness.
Some people use them but think it can mislead like a hygometer even can. I only cured a few times as Im dabs only but Im pretty sure my info is solid. Some times smell and flavor/harshness can be related to the grow medium some say, with organic soil being best.
Hopefully some more experienced folks can chime in but that should help.
Dried a few hours. Back in the jars last night. Humidity resting at 60% in one, 57% in the other this morning. I think we’re good. Thanks again for the help.Removing from jars for additional drying. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks to all for the responses.
