Humidity problems

Hello!

can someone help me understand why I can’t drop my humidity levels? It’s my first grow and I have tried almost everything and it doesn’t work.

I have a 2x2x6 tent
Mars ts600
A small extractor and an oscillating fan
I also have a small dehumidifier (250ml per day) inside.

My current temp is sitting at 28C and 58/60 humidity.

Any help will be very much appreciated

Thats fine for now. The answer is that it's your outside air. That plant is tiny though, it's not doing too much to add humidity. Just a bit.

I thought about that, and I even thought about putting the deuhunifier outside but it wouldn’t do a thing.

In any case.. that means I’m screwed when the buds start popping out , with this level of humidity I will probably have problems I can’t solve. (?)

Where is your exhaust fan dumping its air that it takes out of the tent?

When you dump all the humidity from your grow tent into the room that the tent is in youre creating a loop where no humidity/heat can be removed without forced removal such as a dehumidifier/AC

You need to direct your exhaust out of the room that houses the tent in it.

and saying “I can’t” isn’t valid because if you can’t then you need AC and DEHUMIDIFICATION to control the environment.

2 biggest things that create a successful grow.

1. control environment
2. Learn to use your nutrients.

If you don’t setup number 1 correctly you’ll be fighting a losing battle and spending more money to control without exhausting.

Why do you think that?
Check a vpd chart and you will see that your humidity at that temp is pretty close to spot on, and could even come up a bit.
 
Those small "thermo-electric" humidifiers don't remove enough moisture to be worthwhile. If you need to seriously reduce your RH in the future, you'll need a dehumidifer with compressors-but those do add some heat and even the smallest ones use 250-300 watts of power. Not saying you need one now, but in case it gets worse.

Trouble is he’s in veg with 1 little plant now.

once he hits flowering and stretch, the extra plant mass will add extra humidity etc.

Maybe..
My little tent has no meaningful impact on the humidity of the room it is in. And the 150w led does not heat it noticeably.
 
Step one would be stronger ventilation fans… particularly the one pulling air out of the tent. What is the RH in the room where your tent is? If you’re down in the 40’s that may be enough, otherwise you may need a bigger dehumidifier in the lung room and to vent the tent outdoors.

Is there a chart for autoflower canabis?

Yup, humidity levels outside are not great aswell
