So, i dragged out my equipment to setup my grow, hadn't been used for a while as i let card expire while i was going thru some medical issues that doc said i shouldn't smoke. Anyways cant buy from shops till my new card comes so only working with some seeds, they popped and im ready to go into veg but my 600w ballast blew. Well to be precise no matter if its on a empty 15,20,30amp breaker it flips the breaker and even charred a wooden stool. I am no expert but i think that means its no good? Threw my 200W fluoro in the tent for now with a heater but is there anywhere in Denver area that can compete with online prices? Got to wait till Wednesday to buy but wondering if i can avoid xmas mail system.

Thanks, did not think of CL. Wonder how much longer shops think they can put a 100-150 dollar profit over online vendors..oh well was worth asking.

it seems like every hydro shop has an item they sell for dirt cheap to get you in the door. now if only we had a list of those items and only bought said items at the given store.

Yea i did some looking around actually been to HTG a few times too. Just going to get what i want online. Gave my plants veg dose and they growing happy for now under the 200w cant get the humidity to budge above 20% but they are going good. Decided to reup on a lot of misc things since it been so long.

Most the stores around are good for regular things I guess. But vast majority you can get half price online, shipped for free. I mean even amazon has grow equipment from tents to hash bags. As much as id like to support local buying, high priced items are better online. Most my tubing, netpots, light hangers, nutes and shit i buy local.
