Hydroponic systems at toys r us..B.S?

Im a newb grower on my first indoor grow and out door grow 3 inside 3 out.

anyways I was talking to a friend of mine and he said they sell hydro systems at toys r us for kids to grow like a plant hydroponically for fun and science or w/e.

but is this true or not? if so would I be able to use one for a plant or two instead of constructing my own because of limited space, time and funds.

I looked at toye-r-us and all I seen was a terrarium herb garden.It might grow 2or3 clones,seeds for a cost of $24.95.A tray and humidity dome is like $6.95.I just had to look.You better off to build your own. Peace

That thing looks a bit primitive ofr waht you are attempting to do. It really depends on what kind of resevoir it has. So long as it is large enough to sustain the root system(s) of the plant(s) it should be ok, given the right nutes and light. It aaaaaall depends. Better off getting something else, I say.
