Hydroton Drip System

I had a question about using hydroton on a drip system. Since I'm using hydroton i was told from sources to feed them 3 times a day and or regulate the pump to drip once every 2 seconds. Since I'm not sure which source is right, I would like to get some help. Thanks

I wouldn't mind the exp people advice here also. I might need to adjust my system.

I took cuttings, put them in a bubbler, they rooted in a couple weeks. Then i put them a pot with hydroton only. Right now my timer is 15 mins on, then 45 mins off. With my fan blowing across the plants, I didn't want them to get dried out. I'm pretty surprised how well their growing. But if I am over watering them and they could be growing better. i'm all for any advice.
