I bought a Bag of ProMix HP CC and I have a few questions.

The guy at the store said it's soilless after I purchased it, so I am wondering do I feed the same as soil?

Should my pH be around the area that General Hydro trio gets me to (6.3), or lower?

Do I need to add nutrients right away? I've only ever used Roots Organics Lush, and FF Ocean before this, so I am wondering what to do with my clones for the first few weeks, will I rely on the soil for nutes at first, or my own amendments?

Thanks.

Not like soil you will need to feed from the get-go also should be treated like coco dont let it dry -wilted- out. ph from 5.8-6.3 if fine, plan on watering more with less ppm nutes. Have some cal-mag handy.

No, there are no nutrients in ProMix, all the food comes from what you give them...

When I grew with GH Maxi series I did not use ph down with my well water > 500ppm/7.5 ph.

ProMix is ph buffered with limestone and within reason doesn't care what the ph of water in is...

I start feeding my seedlings right away with a low dose of nutrients. Very roughly I follow their feed chart on their web site.

Promix HP has a buffer in it. I trust it to buffer my ph. I use tap water and Jack's nutrients. I don't check ph. Been through three cycles doing it this way. It's hard to trust a product but it seems to work well.

I use promix and start to feed at seedling stage at half dose then 1/4tsp gal rest of the way till harvest. I never change that amount once it starts. They need water. They get Jack's. Simple growing.
