I have 1 flowering plant that is infested with Springtails (they're said to be benefitial bugs that dont move from pot to pot on their own but they eat dead plant matter in the soil)
They got into 1 pot in the first place because I mixed a little outside dirt with my perlite/peat mix because I was running out of soil.
Rotting broke roots in my other pot could be bad for my healthy little ones, should I take a clump of springtail-filled dirt and put it in my new plants and allow them to break down the dead matter?
