Leave the chlorine in the water...if its safe to drink it wont harm the plants.
maybe? seems like i've read that it's best to let it out-gas. i'm on well water so no chlorine in my h2o
Buy some 38 gallon plastic garbage cans and store up the water til you need it. You should have a week between res changes.
False. If you are trying to grow organically than chlorine and chlorimine destroy the beneficial bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms.
Chlorine sterilization is normal practice at any commercial greenhouse using hydroponics.
That does not prove that the plants are not affected by it. It proves they tolerate it. They certainly dont do better with it.
IDK..I know what people like to say..but.. i ran organic for years both for my Mj and my garden. I used to have a few 55gal drums with rain water, or id fill and let them sit, for watering, Plants did good. Then last year I got lazy and just watered from the hose..still in my own mixed soil..and i had better crops all the way around last year than the years before. I' sure there are other factors, but from what your saying it should have negatively effected them. Plants need chlorine in trace amounts, in my case i think the large amount of soil, i just plant in the ground, was able to buffer the chlorine. A 5 gal bucket of soil could be compromised..i guess.. I haven't seen it. I used chlorinated tap water to make compost teas many times with no adverse effects either..
