i had a 430watt hps light in a ballast that was meant to hold a 1000watt hps bulb and i had the 430watt in it for about 8 hours, i have been told that it will burn my bulb or mess up the bulb so that i cant use it again, i took the bulb out and changed the my ballast to a 430watt ballast and bulb , is the 430watt bulb that i had in the 1000watt ballast still good to use or did it get to bright and fuck up my bulb??????
