I give up

Ok so my first plant is six foot tall and I'm sick of trying things to get good buds. I'm in Indiana and were prob close to 10 hours of pure light if I throw the plant outside for the last two weeks you think it will stay in flower? I think sun light is the only chance to get any good buds.

things are flowering outside now so why not...just might want to ease it into direct sunlight over a period of days rather than all at once. Hard to answer as you provided no info really, but doubt it will make a huge difference over a 2 week time period no matter what you do.

It's hard to say if two weeks is right just found out my timer was bad so I might of put it back in veg without knowing. I have it in shade for prob 5 hours then it would be direct light for three. It really perked up just in the one day it's just too tall to carry in and out of my house if you know what I mean. Already caught the ceiling fan once and avoided damage dont want to risk it again.

If you could post some pics that would help us more, and if your plant is 6' tall then it should've been showing signs of something, are there any signs of bud formation...anything at all?

Oh yea it's has bud starts all over and started to form a big cola. But as far as the pics it will be tomorrow it's dark out. But it seems to be starting new pistols everyday making me think its still in the beginning phase even though i thought it was flowering for three weeks but was really on a 14/10 cycle.

Is the issue of space or light?

Why the move outside?

There are ways to tie down the plant allowing for more space if that's the issue and if it's the light then the more the merrier at this point, it's up to you what you want to do.
Depending on the strain, some buds won't really pack on the beef until the last couple of weeks, so it could be that you just need to let them do their thing.

It's space and light! I just started flowering my second plant need to concentrate the light on her. I was on the golf corse and my buddy said he had some sour diesel but he found a seed in it and that's how I got started so I'm guessing it a diesel strain and all the pics I have seen the plants are all tall and lengthy. I agree with you I think the sunlight is the best thing I can do for her even in the shade my light meter shows her getting more light then my grow room.

If that's the case then I would suggest getting her out there a.s.a.p and leave her as long as you can, all the best...and get pics when you can. :bigjoint:

She looks good just on the thin side, she will bulk up so just be sure to support the branches. I would use some nutes 15-30-15 {there are others here better at this then me lol} and depending where you are keep her out there until late Oct early Nov.
If you can get a bigger pot {or in the ground if possible} that will help, it will get root bound if kept in that one and give you problems, but if you can't, do the best you can and chalk this up to experience.

If I move her to a 5 gallon pot don't you think that will stress her too much. And I would have to dig a deep hole to keep her low now that she's outside.

MJ is a very hearty plant and she will get stressed regardless, even the move outside will effect her but right now your biggest enemy is time.
It's your choice and choosing the lesser of two evils is never easy, but my suggestion would be to get her out there and have mother nature work her magic. It would be great if you can get a bigger pot but if you feel the stress would be too much it's cool, your call, I don't know enough myself to say it would do more harm then good but I do know that a root bound plant is just one problem after another.
