Hello all, and thank you for all of the great reading/learning as I have lurked for a few months here, grasscity, weedtracker, icmag and now I have officially decided...........hehehehe to throw my hand into the mix......
Just some background,
I am a 40 something year old average joe in California, that actually quit smoking pot for 6+ years after 25, while I took custody of my daughter (that another story) and only recently decided to get my 215 endorsement for a few medical reasons and came back into the cannabis culture. I also quit smoking cigs 3.5 years ago after 25+ years of 2packs a day.......(again, another story)
It was relatively easy to obtain my rec, and where disturbing it was so easy, I was also relieved to have an established doctor understand were I was coming from and help plan a way to use the benefits of marijuana to help get away from allot of the drugs I had been prescribed over the last 10 years for anxiety/seizures/arthritis .... BLAH BLAH BLAH, ENOUGH HISTORY!!!!!!!!!
So....
After finding a few great collectives here in the 916/530/707 area, I began smoking again back in November 2010. Where it was great to find a smorgasbord of meds, like going to the Golden Corral on Friday night for all you can eat crablegs , I still wondered why it was still 30-50$ per 1/8th for meds???????? or even 225+ oz.????? Especially If you are like me, I like a different flavor here and there
And I got kids, a life, an exwife, a small business and other toys for my money to be taken from, not POT!
Anyway......Having never done a grow, I began reading and playing with a poor little woody kush clone I picked up at a local well regarded collective here in the area. I have moved this poor lil girl around quit regularly from a pc to a cabinet to a homemade ebb and flow, and then to my DWC/Coffee tub and now into the RM 5 Gal tub to my cabinet..............screw this lets get a decent size of space!~~ I don't want to grow small trucks of smoke nor do I want draw attention to myself of 8 foot monsters full of weed, just keep me in smoke year round. Here is what I came up with, YES I KNOW, it ONLY a 150 HPS and some CFLS and I wont get dense BLAH BLAH BLAH I KNOW Work with me, I have tween kids and a wife who is not totally into this whole growing thing. If she was, my 700 square foot shop would be getting a facelift and a solar roof
