I have $50

Im looking to get a vanity light fixture or something to put a bunch of cfl's into. what kind of wiring and stuff do i need to do? because i dont think they just plug into the wall....What do i need to buy?

go to the dollar store and get like 4 42w cfl's..there like 4 dollars each...and try 2 find sum desk lamps or go to the petsmart and get sum lamps that yu are suppose 2 use for fish/reptiles..

or go to home depot and buy a bunch of sockets(about 89cents ea.) and get your self a bunch os plugs about same price and a shit load of wire for fixing broken cords and plugs and BAM!!!and y connectors and you spent about 25-30 bucks for about 8 outlets with the Y' you'll have 16 so with your left over money go get the rest in bulbs....and then mount them on to whatever the mcgyver mind tells you to,lol...........gl,ras

are sockets really 89 cents?

well the cheap ceramic light sockets are around a buck.They are the genral contractor sockets for like closets and unfinished basement.You daisy chain them with wire from one sockets screws to the next and the next and the next then at the end you hook your extension cord you cut the feamle end off.SO tyhat wat 6 sockets 1 extension cord and some electrical wire maybe $18 then 6 Y splitters and that will give you 12 sockets then just plug it in.Id use a length of 2x4 to mout the sockets on and then 2 eyes and some hooks with chains and your done

Go to the thrift store and find a bathroom vanity I got one for only 2 bucks. I then went to walmart and bought some y stockes for 1.57 each and a 6' extention cord $1.89. The bathroom vanity holds 6 bulbs so with the y adapter 12 bulbs. Go to walmart or if you have a dollar store go there for the cfl bulbs. The ones you will want for vegging will be daylight blubs these cost a bit more, two for 7 buck.
