I plan on planting it in a pot and burying it..should i use a regular potting soil mix or ??

Don't restrict it to that pot. Dig yourself a deep hole and add soil. Make sure it gets direct light all day long. You may have to cut some tree branches to ensure this. Lots of water.

you can use whatever soil mix you think is best but whenever i reccomend a soil its usually fox farm ocean forrest. It is pricey though or you can make you own like i do.
