Hello everyone. This is a hydro grow. I was just in my grow room and I was noticing one of my plants was not as big as the rest and looking hurt so when I went to check it out it was floppy and then I noticed the stem was almost broke right off right where the stem goes into medium. I noticed the stem was alot bigger above meduim than below it. PH is 5.8 using GH Grow Bloom Micro. I have taken the broken plant and made 10 clones from it.( still dont know the sex fuck) It was only 1 month old. I have checked my other plants and they too look weak right where the plant goes in to the medium. Now i am worried! I have six plants left and dont want any more to die ( sniff sniff ). I have attached a pic of the stem after building the clones. I am using a drip system and am wondering if the nutes could be the cause or if it is normal. Also does any one think these clones will take? only one or two had more than one node the rest were straight cut. This is my first grow! Thanks in advance for any help.

Damn you got damping off. the same bacteria that starts root rot.
Its hard to stop once it starts. Id start by adding H2O2 to your res. This will help kill the pythum (the culprit). Also water less or shorter, keep the roots drier than usual. Theres some chems out there to prevent pythum just search for them. Lamp

Heads up on plants that are same strain but seem to grow slower in identical conditions is that they are usually male or hermie. Males grow slower but show sex quicker.
