I just screwed up....need help please

okay I just fkkd up... I am doing just a

straight flush feed with water today, I

filled my res yeste with purified water

and let it sit bubbling overnight. I

FORGOT TO CHECK PH BEFORE I

SPLOOSHED THEM ALL WITH WATER!!!!

there was a bit left in the res. i just

tested it... above 8.5 PH oh noo what

do I do now??? please help me balance

or fix this immediately.

Purge your res and fill with clean water ph it at your normal running ph and flush for a couple of times.

It shouldnt be too much of a problem if you correct straight away.

You need to make sure your medium isnt holding any of that 8.5 water. in it so flush it with 3 times the volume of your pot with your normal ph range plain water.

No big deal at all since you use Hydroton. Just fix ph, and re-water. Done!

yeah I'm using soilless hp promix. So i have the go-ahead to just water the PISS outta them now with balanced ph? it wont hurt them to drown them this bad?? sry its noobsville here....

okay i drowned them with lower ph water (6.0) they are soaked, now it's three 18 hour cycles before I water again. Hope this turns out ok. What a good way to tell if the ph is too high? what signs will the plants show?

lots of problems can be caused by a ph issue. i wouldnt worry too much unless you have a problem.

its like asking someone to tell you when you are going to get the flu.

dont worry about the problems caused by ph you only hit them with one dose of ph 8.5 if you were running this for a week or more then yeah worry a little but not just one watering. you'll be fine just relax and go have a doobie!!!
