i need a little help concerning my 250 watt lighting, please help outtt

hi i am new to growing and i really cannot wait unit my harvest hahah. anyways, my plants been growing pretty nicely for a week now using a 250 watt light system, so heres my problem. i just dont know what should be the distance between the plant and the light? its been a foot long for the pass 1 week. should putt it closer or is it too close?

im using a dual spectrum grow lamp from sunmaster

:leaf:put it as close to the light as possible but watch temps at plant feel with back of hand at canopy make sure its not hot other than that the closer the better:bigjoint::bigjoint:

Plants grow best between 75 - 85 degrees fahrenheit, and temps above 95 wil inhibit flowering. When they are brand new, they like it a little warmer, 80 - 85 or so. Put your thermometer at the same height/level as your plants to get a good reading on temps. Get the light as close as possible while still staying between 75 - 85 degrees. Add ventilation as necessary. We can answer your questions about that too.
