I need help and it is so simple to achieve so much with this little effort.

I m a medical marijuana advocate in NC. We have no legal system in place but a few of us have been working diligently to accomplish a passing bill. However the politicians don't care how solid our bill is bc this year they gave it an unfavorable report because it received to much support. The truth of the matter is most cannabis users across the united states are sick and tired of being prosecuted over this. It makes no sense to destroy so many lives. I need anyone on here who has ideas of how I can get this done or where I can find some investors to push this cause. If nothing else we need to stand up as Americans and demand the federal prohibition ends. The UN is pressuring our federal government to keep it illegal even though they know it defies the will of the people. Marijuana frees people's minds and promotes free thinking. That is what the government is really afraid of. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction?

Yeah you sound a little paranoid my friend. Marijuana is not a miracle substance. It does not promote thinking that makes an individual more aware of whatever the government is doing. People might take you more seriously if you sound like you have at least one foot in the door.
