I have a major yellowing issue that I need help with. Here's what my set up is.....1000W HPS, temp 80-85 daytime, 70 night time, 30-50% humidity (depends on the weather), coco, PH 6.5 ( I just switched to 5.8), I'm using 2.5ml per five gallons of Cal Mag, 5ml per 5 gallons of CNS17 1-5-4. I'm new to growing so take it easy on me lol. Thank you in advance for all your input, I greatly appreciate it.

The reason I switched to 5.8 is that everything I have read suggest 5.8 is the correct PH for coco. I also spoke with a Botanicare rep and they also recommended a PH of 5.8-6.0 in their Coco.
I don't have a PPM meter.....I know I really need to get one but I just don't have the money to buy one.

I am terrible at this, but,
That leaf looks like the ph was wrong.

5.8 during veg
6.0-6.2 during flower

you are using tap water, right?\

In coco, I have found the ppm meter to be very valuable.
Measure before you water then measure the runoff. It should be lower in the runoff, or you are feeding too much.

What's ppm? How old are the plants.
parts per million

hmm, don't always go by what you hear, go by what you see. if your plants were doing fine at 6.5, why would/should you change it? i ph my water and mixes at 6.4-6.5 ph and i have yet found any reason not to.

unless you're using some type of hydro setup, where you are constantly watering and feeding to maintain that ph, expect to see issues along the way.

I am using RO water. I switched to 5.8 Ph because my plants were yellowing. I only switched the PH 1 day ago. So the problem existed before I switched the PH right?

Are you in coco as well? I have grown in soild before and I had good results at 6.5 but in the coco it just took my babies and made them yellow
