i need help

i just started growing my plant outdoors about a week or so ago i just put it in some potting soil and it grew two seedlings from one seed. i want to know if my plants will bud up if i grow just using water since im kinda broke right now. it is just a seed that i pulled out the bottom of my sack and hopefully will grow big.Also how do i make them get into the vegetative and flowering states faster.

full sun, dont over water, the days are getting shorter depending where you are you need to disrupt the dark at night with light somehow if you want to veg longer than 2 weeks

thanks that helps will any regular lighting work at night or do i need a special kind of lighting. and do you have any other pointers for growing good solid plants this late in the year

only advice would be to wait until the end of april and start over
