ok to make a long story short i was forced to dry my last harvest outside but that was about a month ago and the lows were only getting down to high 40s or low 50s.....well im still in the same situation and might have to dry outside. my last harvest dried outside turned out wonderfully, i was quite suprised at how high the quality was after drying outdoors with the constant temp changes but now the lows are getting down to mid 30s and low 40s and its very possible that at some point during the drying process it could actually dip down slightly below freezing at night. now of course the lows are only felt for an hour or two then the sun comes up and it starts to warm up but my question is what kind of damage if any could be done chemicaly to the thc or any other compounds in the buds by the temp being so low or possibly dropping below freezing for a few hours? will this destroy my harvest or what? any help is definitly appreciated. thanks

Try to cover them with bags or a tarp. I'm sure it depends on the strain your growing if it will damage it but im pretty sure that they will be okay if you cover them up.
