i need some suggestions

i just sprouted some seeds and bought a clone (GDP) from the dispensary i got the foxfarm happy frog soil, but am gonna pick up the ocean forest as well, is black gold a good soil? any other suggestions? also bugs. is there anything i can use thats natural to prevent bugs or reduce them i heard fish oil works. is chicken manure good to use? and how long if at all should i wait to tp into the ground? this is my first grow and i would like some experienced input im all ears???

Black gold is good soil, But ocean forest will be beter. If you want to go natural, Cook up some garlic and mineral oil from your local supermarket. mix with water and put a tiny cup of it on top of your soil or between your plants. Spiders, earwigs and aphids hate it. and will keep far away. You can spray lightely on leafs but no need to really with the stentch of garlic. Used it for my outdoor crop. Fish oil works well. Chicken manure is actually a good fertiliser too. Hope this helps, Peace.

I have used black gold in the past it is good soil. I ended up getting the ocean forest tho because that's what they had and i wanted to try it since everybody uses it. There Happy frog soil is supposed to be used to build up natural soils for outdoor growing and the ocean forest is for container gardening. I suggest you pot into a light soil/soiless mix and plant your seed directly into it when the taproot emerges from the shell and than transplant into the ocean forest when they start their vegetative growth. There should be plenty of nutes in the ocean forest for them I don't see any reason to add any chicken manure. It has wormcastings bat guano and fish ferts already in it you'll probably want to mix some extra perlite with the ocean forest.

i would say go hydro, i was hard core soil till i got a few buckets and tryed one the hydro way, less care needed less time and if you do it right it will cost less in the long run.

chicken crap is good, but you should compost it for a month or so before using it.
Just place it in the pot with the soil and flip the soil every week or so keeping it lightly moist.

Note that chicken crap is a very potent fertilizer and you should take caution with the emounts you'r adding.

so i just checked the weather forecast for my city and the humidity is 75% is that bad for my plants i just transplanted into the ground today should i cover them with a cup or something?

its just fine.
don't overdo the venting and you should be gold.

if they start to shock, put a clear cup over them for a few days.

what do you mean by venting does that apply if theyre outdoors

no. if their outdoor you don't need air venting.
Get some clear plastic bottle, make in it for some air circulation and put it over the seedling for a few days.
It should move very gently by the air flow when its windy.
