I need some with my plant

I just got this plant and I don't know much about it. What can I do to get it healthy again.

For starters,get it into a larger pot?

How much bigger?

3 gallon pot and start feeding a high nitrogen plant food every other watering

What kind of soil should I use? Every when do I water it? What's a good plant food?

I use fox farms depending on the your location some soils might not be available but any bag of soil will work and miracle grow is frowned upon but I used it my 1st grow and till i moved to wa state

It's root-bound. Bad.

You should water every 3 days after 1st 3 days feed her 3days later water and keep going

What about for light?

Depends on what u can get mh/Hps or cfls but hurry lol more light bigger plants

What can you afford?

People have grown successful crops with just about anything but incandescent.

I pull a QP every six weeks off of 300w of CFLs. I spent less than $40 on my lights altogether. It's all about what you want and what you can afford.

If I had the money when I first started? 600w for a 3x3 or 4x4 tent.... 1000w for 5x5 or anything bigger.

I can't afford nothing expensive. Where do I buy the lights from?

I will make a write-up on some cheap lights tonight for you, so that you have a reference with some in-depth info.

For now and to make it quick...

Go to Home Depot, you know they will have the adapters you need.

You need a 4-pack of 23w or 26w (whichever they have) 6400k (blue "cool" bulbs) CFLs from Home Depot. You can get a 4-pack between $10-$12.

You need One cheap $2 extension chord that has two plugs on it, one on each side.
You need Two Y-Adapters for your light sockets. They will be on the same isle as the extension chord.
You need Two Socket-To-Plug adapters for your lights to plug into your extension chord. They will be with the other adapter.

Plug the adapters into the chord, and screw the Y-Adapters into the socket adapter. You now have 4 CFLs attached to your single chord.

Hang that baby about 4" over your plant. Good to go until flower.

About $15 altogether for 100w of blue CFL lighting.

This is what they will come out looking like.



That 100w will serve you until flower, or you can even flower a small plant with it. If you flowered with 100w of CFL and your grow went perfect, you could probably pull close to an oz off one plant if you bush it up correctly.

Keep whatever light you have on it until you get the right stuff tomorrow. Unless you can get it tonight, it only takes like 5 minutes to put together.

But if you cant get it tonight, keep light on it, you don't want to screw up the light schedule if you can help it. And if you keep light on it, tomorrow, you can decide what times you want the lights on and off. Oh, and buy a cheap $5 timer. It's going to break in the next year, but it's better than nothing for right now.

Do water it with tap water? Is there a plant food that will have a the nutrients it needs? I just have 1 plant it's my first grow.
