I think i have root rot

I am growing in a 5 gallon dwc and everything has been going beautifully. The other day I noticed that a tiny portion of my root was a little darker while the rest was like a snowy white if that makes sense. Well today I wake up to find all the roots have a slightly yellowish tint to them but still kinda white. Some leaves also have some spots now. Is that a sign of root rot? The roots arent tangled or binded and instead are growing quite beautifully for the most part. I tried to take a pic but couldnt get the clearest shot of the yellowish tint. What can do to fix this? I have 35% h2o2 and heard that can help but im not sure how much to give.

as far as i can tell your roots look fine. what nutes are you using? some brands will stain the roots.

what you want to watch out for is slime on the roots. it may start out clear but will quickly become brown.

I will have to take better pics tonight since my plants are in the dark atm. I am using GH Flora series and doing the Lucas formula. The roots were a beautiful white when they grew in but are slowly turning color.

Roots look fine , you probably have to much nutes in your water just dilute it with some more water. I can see nice bubble in the bucket so i don't think you will have a problem with root rot. also for dwc it is better to have more tiny bubbles then fewer large ones.

If that doesn't work check your ph.

from pictuer 2 I can see your plants are to young to be on full strength nutes. You should be at the stage where you just upped the dose from 1/4 strength 1/2 strength

when I refer to strengths I mean 1/4 or 1/2 of what it says on the back of the bottle.

The plants are about a month and a half old from germination. I originally had heat and Ph problems which severely stunted the growth. In resolved them about 2 weeks ago and they have been growing beautifully since. They seem to respond really well to the Lucas veg formula so far so I don't know if that would be the problem since this is the first time in weeks I've noticed a difference. I will update in about 3 hours when the lights are on.

yeah with gh flora nutes the micro stains roots but it doesnt hurt them
Do the roots normally look like this with GH flora though? I had alot of problems my first month of the grow and almost lost my grow twice. I cant help but be a little paranoid at this point lol.

those roots are perfect mate. keep up the good work. that spot doesnt look like too much it actually kind of looks like you have been a bit rough with it and torn it or something. i would be interested to hear other peoples thoughts but it doesnt look to worrying to me.

thanks much for that link, i think that is more likely what i have, the only part of the roots that are brown are the ones in the water, and there was some slime on an air tube- also- i had a sock wit pirhanna powder in it and i am not sure if the brown is slime or pirhanna- anybody help?

That looks like a healthy plant. Only start to worry if the roots start to look slimy. The color doesn't always matter. New baby roots will be snow white but older ones will dull white/brown when they age.

That spot looks like you dripped something on the leaf. Like concentrated nutrition or something not plant friendly.
